DESCRIPTION:When Karlheinz Stockhausen created his Surround Song of the Youths in the WDR Studio for Electronic Music\, the radio was still broadcasting in mono. Today\, broadcasts in 5.1 surround sound are technically widespread\, and immersive spatial experiences are available everywhere via sound bars and headphones. On the occasion of 100 years of radio\, Studio Neue Musik looks into the future with composers: what could the radio of the future sound like? Where is it heard? And how?
